Default 26's on a Wolverine

Ok, what is it going to take to run 26 Bi's and Tri's on a Wolverine? No, I am not trading, selling, or buying anything else. If at all possible, keep this to bolt on items because it is brand new and I don't want to tear into the engine unless I realy need to.

Thanks
Scott

Default 26's on a Wolverine

Mudmax,

Sorry to tell you this, but I would never put 26's of any kind on a wolverine. I know from experience. I have 25-10-12 titan 589's on mine and love them. 25's are ok, but I think that 26's would cut down your low end torque way to much. If you got into the thick mud you would never turn them.

just my 2 cents.

I know it won't turn them with a stock motor. That is why I am asking what mods it would take to turn 26's.

IMO it would take more than just bolt ons. A buddy of mine has a piped/filtered 00' with 25" bi and tri claws. He can't turn them over in the really nasty stuff. It does ahve to be REALLY nasty but first is just too high geared for anything too big.

I agree that first is to high and I am trying to get info on the big bear gear swap but no luck. Does anybody on here know what it takes to do the gear swap? And if I already have it down that far then I might consider a 446 kit from FST. It's kinda hard to do all this to a new bike.

Thanks
Scott
