the ziptie isn't choking off the fuel line, it isn't that tight, but it holds the fuel line at a better angle for better flow. Do you really have to be that dumb to think i'm choking off the fuel line? and i'm sure your lol alright, because you think you know everything because you have a raptor and a website

 

kdawg62, your statements were so wordy, I made it out that the ziptie was causing the problem. Instead of ziptieing the hose why not remove the old hose all the way to the petcock, replace/re-route it so there is an equal length of hose on each side of the Y. The old hose has probably shrunk in diameter from age anyway. Your tank screen may be getting clogged too. As for the dumb part........I have seen dumber things. And the know it all part.....I have been riding ATV's since 1977 and I do know quite a bit about them based on my experience with them. Also, yes I have a Raptor and yes, I have a website but what has that got to do with anything???

 

no nothing is plugged and i dont need to clean my screen, and the hose is fine, and it wouldn't matter if i shortened the hose, all i was saying was i had to tie the maine hose (before it Y's) to the tube so it would take a better angle to the Y. NOthing to complicated, i'm sure an ATV'er since 1977 would have just figured it to be nothing. hell you might as well just get a forum on your website and answer everyone who gets on theres questions, and maybe open a hotline or omsething, i mean you do know everything right? oh enough with the smart *** ****, i dont care, i was just trying to help this guy out who had the same problem i had, so when you reply and post some LOL bull****, i mean you must know everything. and how come you dont have any pictures of your shop on yoru page, so we can see where all these gaining knowledge has taken place? or do you just take it to the dealership?
