Grizzly 600 connecting rod
guys im rebuilding top end on my griz 600 due to smoking. After pulling everything down i noticed that the wrist pin had some very slight scoring. I checked the small end of connecting rod and noticed a very minor scoring there but a finger nail cant pick it up just your eyes. All the specs on side clearances are within spec. I been looking high and low and cant find specs for wrist pin bore. I did put the new pin in and noticed it had no up and down movment in rod and slides easily from side to side. My question is does any one have the factory specs for wrist pin bore on rod and even though the rod has visible light scoring can i still reuse it? thanks for help

The first time I rebuilt a quad engine (Honda 300 run without oil) the small end had seized, the pin had scored the eye and I had to use a reamer and metal polish to get a new pin to go through it. I did wonder about fitting a new con rod but due to the expense of a total stripdown and that if the pin seized in the con rod, it could still move in the piston, I decided to risk it. That bike has just come to us as a part-ex after a further six years, no brakes, plastics smashed and rear hub welded to axle, but the engine is running fine.
