Ok i bought a 88 yamaha yfm 350 big bear and these wiring i have no clue as to whats its for.any and all help would be great.

 

this is a pic of the front wiring harness for the headlights I know the yellow -green-black plugs go to headlights but have no clue what the pink and black wires are for OR the green with yellow and black wires are for...the large plug red-tan-black with red-black go to ignition key,I think.


here is a light blue wire i have no clue as to where it goes.its on the drivers side and goes down towards the starter area.



Last but not least here is a black wire that is cut off and have no clue where it goes is located on top of frame in the harness with all the other wires at the very back.




any and all help please the guy that owned this thing was a butcher but they were great 4 wheelers and i want to save her and restore it right.not a hack job like he did.


here are a few wires i have no clue what they are for as well located at the back drivers side in front of the battery.
it has a blue with white and black wire in, and blue with white and red with white out of the plug.Also a red with white wire in a red sleeve over it.

 

Holy crap! You need a manual with a wiring diagram, it will tell you what every wire is.

 

ok guys got it all figuered out.light blue wire is neutral safter switch.yellow with green and black are brake light,pink and black aux 12 volt power option.single black wire goes straight to batter ground ,blue with whit and red with white in plug go to solenoid switch,hope this is a help to someone else if they ever buy a hacked up bike like me lol.what a mess but got it all back to stock and running like a charm with a carb overhaul and all fluids replaced.NOW just to get the brakes and rear brake cable and handlebar assembly for rear brakes.and try to figure out why i have no high range on my shifter.all gears work high ,low,and reverse just cant adjust the shifter to get all 3.can only get low and reverse or high and low no reverse.hmmmmm.
