Default yamaha vs chinese brand atv

how do yamahas compare to the chinese atvs i recently purchased a 2013 raptor 350 and later came across the chinese brands that were dirt cheap and just curious if any good maybe i'll consider buying one to have for a guest

Comparing a Yamaha to a Chinese knock-off is like comparing a modern Toyota to a 1970's Ford Pinto. Avoid Chinese quads unless you want to be constantly wrenching on them.

Haha I see your point. My dad was actually the one who found them and was showing me how I waisted my money for a Yamaha when I could have bought this cheap one lol

My Yamaha is 28 years old, has been beaten to death, and still runs like a Swiss watch. And I can still get parts.

The jury will be out for a couple more decades regarding the Chinese ATV, but I believe I already know how this will turn out.

The raptor 350 was originally introduced as the warrior 350 in '86 as an '87 model. There are still original model year examples out there ripping it up. You would be lucky to find a 3 year old Chinese make still running without some issues. It is even harder to get parts for most Chinese brands than out is for that 87 warrior. Now go ask your dad if he ever owned a Yugo. Same thing.

It is not hard at all to get parts for chinese four wheelers.. I know I have to buy them all the time. You didnt waste money, you saved a headache. My brand new chinese atv has never charged the battery.. already needs a stator or something. Fun to ride for cheap though.

Yamaha vs Chinness is like comparing a "Snap-On" socket set to a set from "General Dollar".

I had a 1989 Yamaha Big Bear 350 4x4 that I treated like a red headed step child for years and I sold it to a friend who uses it to this day.
Like to see a China ATV run for 25 months let alone 25 years.

What's wrong with the cheap socket set lol snap on is nice but overpriced lol
