Default uni multi stage filter

Just wondering what one of the better air filters out there is? I care more about the best protection which I think would be a foam filter. I keep seeing the uni multi stage filter pop up all over the place and not sure how good it is. Also would I need to adjust my carb if I get a different filter? Bike is a 2008 raptor 350. Thanks in advance for helping out a new guy!

Uni's got my vote.Almost every dirt bike made uses an oiled foam filter,in my opinion should be the same on atvs. Even have one in my old Honda street bike. If you're in a lot of dirt/dust you need a good filter. Some like K&N with socks, but I've seen too many of them after you pull the filter off,you can find a fine film of dirt around the inside of the carb even with a sock. Just my

I'm wondering also if the uni multi stage filter is just a drop in replacement or do I need some other parts? I'm wanting to do that air filter and the HMF competition slip on exhaust.

Perfect I found the uni filter on amazon along with some yamalube 10w40. I was checking out spark plugs and saw the brisk performance plug and am wondering if that is better than say an NGK iridium plug? I'm willing to spend the extra few dollars if it benefits the quad in the slightest way.

Iridiums work ok on some machines, but not on some older style ignitions. Didn't work worth a flip on my old Honda, just a waste of money.Fouled a couple plugs out. You can't go wrong with plain old NGK plugs.Best plug for the money and what most manufacturers recommend.
As far as other plugs,I remember all the hoopla when Splitfire plugs came out also and how much better they were supposed to be and were going to take over.. Another waste of money.
