Default yfm225 won't idle properly after overheating

Idle must be set high to prevent stalling after overheating. No head warp and valves look ok. Any suggestions?

I'd do a compression test and leak down since it over heated.Could still be a leaking head gasket or base gasket if it's not a piston or valve problem that a compression test would probably catch.Somethings happened if it ran good before it over heated.
