Beartracker/Bruin/Big bear 250 flywheel rotor removal?
Im trying to take the flywheel rotor (1P0-H1450-00-00) off of my yamaha bruin 250. It is the same as the older beartracker and the newer big bear 250. I have been having trouble with my e start and been hearing a lot of noise coming form the starter clutch or idler gear 2 area and i want to take the flywheel rotor off to inspect them. I looked online for a flywheel puller made for this model but couldnt come up with anything and actually ended up ordering a flywheel pulller by motion pro that doesnt fit it. I also bought a gear puller the one that has the 3 claws and a bolt that goes in the middle and i dint have much luck with that either but may try it again tomorrow. Are there any other ways i can take the flywheel off without finding a flywheel puller for it that they dont seem to make. Oh and they are no threaded holes in it for the type of puller with the 3 bolts and 1 in the center so that wont work. it is threaded on the crankshaft(?) on the outside for the flywheel puller where you screw a little socket thing on and put the bolt through it into the crankshaft(?) and it should pop right off but the one i have from motion pro for the yfm350x does not fit because the socket thing is not deep enough and is to wide for the threads and the bolt for it is too wide. Its sizes are M35 x 1.5 R.H. on this puller. Thanks in advance
