Battery Tenders

Battery Tenders
What battery tenders are you guys using? I want to get something nice, getting tired of having batteries go dead from lack of use then freezing in the winter. The Kodiak has been though a few batts in its lifetime, and my jet ski is the same way. Id love to get more then a couple years out of them.

I might be prejudiced on this one as we mainly sold Yuasa maintainers.I've had the same one for years on the old Honda. I suppose even from Wallyworld would be as good as they all are from China for the most part. Plus we had this bad boy at the shop.http://store.yuasabatteries.com/p/10...ery-maintainer

I just go out to the shed and start the atvs once a month during our long cold winters and let them idle for 10 minutes.
Even if I get to lazy for that and the ATV will not turn over in the spring, I just pull start it and go for a ride and the ATV is good for another summer.
I get at least 4 years out of the batteries and I just buy Walmart Everlast for $65.

Currently have one from Harbor Freight hooked up to mine and works fine (plus, they usually have coupons for them in mailings). Bought it 5 or so years ago to keep lawn mower battery up. Battery on my Prarie is starting to get a little age so figured this will keep it going for a time longer.
