whats my four wheeler worth
ok i have a 2000 yamaha warrior that im thinking about selling to get a yfz or banshee and im curious as to how much you guys think i could get. over the last few months ive had it completely stripped down and replaced all bearings seals ect. also ive repainted the frame, hubs, wheels, engine, plastics, header, and well just about every piece of the fourwheeler. as for aftermarkets it has a gytr slip on muffler, k and n air filter, modded air box lid, banshee front shocks, 12 tooth front sprocket, wiseco 10.25:1 .040 over piston, all new seals and gaskets in engine, brighter xenon haedlight bulbs, new grips, newer seat, widened in front and back, metal skids, and 80% itp hole shot tires front and rear. its had about 12 hours since the rebuild and just yesterday changed oil and checked valves.

forgot to say i also have two other pistons, another cylinder, axle, axle housing, stock shocks front and rear, cylinder head complete, and 2 sets of tires both are pretty bad but good for road use, back plastics, handlebars, throtle cable, multiple sprockets, and another set of rims also not great condition. and the rear brake caliper is messed up, needs new one. thats the only thing wrong with it.

It depends on your area, here in NC, the nice Warriors are listing on Craigslist for $1200 - 1500. That doesn't mean that is what they actually sell for. When I sell something, I like to search Craigslist and Ebay for what I am selling to see what everybody else is listing their's for, for comparison. What hurts the price of the Warrior these days is, I see Raptor 700's listed as low as $3000 and YFZ450's listed for $2500. There was even a Raptor 700 for $2000 on Craigslist the other day and I see Raptor 350's all the time for $1500 - 1800. Why would anybody buy a Warrior for $2500 when they could have a newer (04-05) YFZ450 for the same price? Don't expect alot of return for the amount of time and money that you put in it.

I had a friend offer me 1000 and another 800 at Christmas does 1800 sound like a good deal? ive got about that much into the fourwheeler and its parts but im not trying to make anything just get a new one without giving mine away. by the way 1800-2000 is what the clean low hour original ones are asking for where I live.

I sold a couple of very nice Warriors, and got $1500 & $1700 here on the
left coast, but sporty quads in general are hard to sell now. Easier come
spring IMO. Utility quads are MUCH easier to sell. I got the $1700 price
but adding racks, trailer hitch, and 12-tooth drive sprocket.
As for your parts, sell them separately. They don't really add value in my
experience. They get good $ on eBay.
I have a refurbished DVX400 for sale now for $2100 with add-ons, and
hardly a nibble.
