Default 01 warrior sudden bogging and revving

i was riding my 01 warrior for about 2 hours.. i was in 6th gear topped out and it was going good ( as i have done a bunch of times) then it started to die out as if it was running out of gas.. i put it on reserve and it got worse and worse... it would idle fine.. ( almost like the parking brake limiter) but it would bog on high end.. so i started it up at home and now its revving out of control.... what the deal here? any ideas.. first it was bogging now its revving...?

Check the boot from the carb to the engine sounds like it's sucking air

boot is good, i took the float bowl off and found some green crap in the bottom.. cleaned that out.. just kinda sprayed carb cleaner in the choke.. up thru the jets ect.. put it back together and its running fantastic.

Sounds like your lost compression and your piston is shot.... Time for a compression check...

not sure i see how you think i lost compression and the piston is shot. i cleaned the carb ( it was dirty) and now its idles, runs and goes like a raped ape with out any issues what so ever. starts right up. idles perfect and has plenty of power.. the font tires come off the ground when i snap the throttle...?

Usually out of control revving like that is due to an air leak... Going WOT and having the quad feel like it runs out of gas is exactly what a quad does when the top end goes...

yes, i understand that.. ive had a jet ski do that to me before.. but the jet ski didnt run right until i rebuilt the engine...

i cleaned the carb on the warrior and have not had an issue at all, like i was saying i have full power.. the atv will snap your head back. the plug is not indicating a lean condition.. idles and starts fine with smooth power thru all rpms... so how could i possibily have a blow top end? it seems like its running fine now that i cleaned that dirty carb.. ??
