Default 1997 Yahama Wolverine Brake Problems

My rear brake (foot and hand brake) does not work. I replaced the master cylinder but the brake pedal when pushed down hits the bottom with no resistance. I tried bleeding air out of the lines but there is no pressure in the lines to even push the fluid out...all it does is dribble out.

Any suggestions?

The air isnt getting out of the lines. Crack open the bleeder valve on the caliper a little and let it gravity drain for an hour or so. Keep the MC full. Then rebleed the brakes.

For about 19 bucks at Harbor Frieght or some of your automotive parts stores, you can get a hand vacuum pump brake bleeder with a resivoir, just open the bleed screw, put the hose on, and you can physically pull the brake fluid down to the caliper, then you should be able to bleed it properly, or that may do the job alone, as long as you dont see air bubbles in the drain line to the jar.
