Hey i just received a 01 blaster for free cuz the engine broke but im rebuiling it and it should work when im done so i wanna make it a nice and fast quad. My dad suggested boreing it out because he knows A guy who could do it for almost free but i have heard porting it would be alot better amd i just wanna hear some input on what i should do to it first and where i should start and what the quality parts are thanks

 

theres alot u could do u need to get a exhaust pipe before porting or boreing becuse it defeast the purpose the stock exhaust has so many restrictions i suggest the tommey b1 full DO NT GET DG EXHAUST WORST U COULD GET. the fmf ones r pretty good then u should get a better air filter i removed my lid air lid cuse once again its very restricting. then i would suggest work on the suspension but that what i suggest. porting and boreing it will turn your quad into a complete MONSTER it will be so fast u wont be abel to keep the qaud on four whells through any gear i would suggest porting anf polish and getting a 34mm oko carb and i think that would be plenty but u should really do ur suspension before puttign all that power on it hope this helps
