You may just need to do a valve adjustment. When was the last time if ever? Also check your spark plug. Running to rich or lean?

it did not have a valve adjustment sice i got it and i was thinking it would be the spark plugs. I think its running too rich from my research. Is it normal for the choke lever to be stiff?
sounds like its time for a tune up. adjust the valves, oil change, spark plug, clean the carb, etc... adjusting the valves will really make a difference though.
ok i'll try that, do you guys think the pilot screw has to do with it because my neighbour been saying it is the altitude?

altitude can definitely make a difference on the way your bike runs. with less air the higher you go, the carb will not compensate for it by adjusting the air/fuel ratio. less air means that it will be running rich (more fuel than air in the mix) have you ever jetted it?
Most all 660's have junk carb's from the factory putting on a Edelbrock single carb system will help wonders a bunch. Just a thought!

i think that will help vey much because the screws on the carbs have a green colour and everytime you would clean the carb the bike sounds better. Thanks!! I will try it
