Kodiak 450 headlight - not the usual ?
Trying to remove and change the headlights on my '04 Kodiak 450, but I can't get the buld and socket out of the black plastic housing. I have them out of the reflective lens part, but there is not enough wire length to pull the socket and bulb out of the little hole in the back so I can change them. Is that common? or is there a trick to it that I'm missing?
At this point the only options I see are...
1. Cutting the 3 wires to get it out and then having to rewire it with longer ones to re-install.
2. Pulling hard on the wires to see if I can get some more wire to feed out from under the front of the atv.
3. Break the bulb and then pull the housing out, but then after I re-install a new bulb how the heck do I get it back in there since the wires seem way to short.
