Default can this noise be my timing chain?

i have a 2000 warrior and when i ride it for about 30 minutes a whining noise comes from the motor. anybody have any ideas? is there a way i can tighten the timing chain without breaking the motor down?

Warriors have an automatic chain tensioner, there is not tightening it. It automatically adjusts as the chain wears. I don't know what the wine is without hearing it. Could be a bearing or a bushing in the motor. Just hard to tell with out standing next to it.
