Yamaha Warrior or Honda 300ex

I have 1989 warrior bought when it was 5 years old.Everything still stock and runs great.I never babied it but I changed oil and greased it when it needed it.Its been a reliable atv for me.This spring I bought 05 450 kodiak for the 4x4 so now I have 2 atvs to ride.The warrior is a nice atv for trail riding and more.Like others have said you should ride both atvs and see what you like and what one has been taken care of.Which ever one you decide happy trail riding!!!!!!!

a good question, and it really will take a test ride on both, there are several factors involved as stated before, one being your size, smaller i'd say the 300ex, larger i'd say a warrior.

i actually own a 2003 warrior and i couldn't be more happy with it, and my brother owns a 2007 300ex, personally i'll stick with my warrior which does have a widened rear axle and 2" spacers up front so i love the handling i have with it and the stability, but the 07 300ex isn't THAT much slower in the long run than a warrior IMHO until you hit the 6th gear on the warrior.

both are very good bikes, and idk about most people, but my warrior does not ride rough, and neither does my brothers 300ex, both have a nice ride.

I have a 2003 warrior with 3" spacers and nerf bars, jetted carb, white brothers exhaust. its fast, stable, and very reliable. as for the 300ex i have never owned one. although again if you want a newer atv 2004 was the last year of the warrior and 300ex is still made. A 350 raptor is bacically a newer warrior it just has a new name and plastic. so i'd say look into the 350 raptor. if you can get a good deal buy it.
