Default 02 Warrior Taillight/Brakelight questions??

Hey guys,
I recently purchased an 02 Yamaha Warrior. While giving it an inspection at home, I noticed the taillight worked, but the brake light didn't. So I took out the bulb and found the socket was small, that can only fit a 168/194 wedge bulb. So I though it was burned out and put a new 168 bulb in. The taillight still works, but the brake light doesn't. So I'm wondering what to do? I know the bulb should have dual filament, but the only type of bulb I can fit is a wedge style. I was looking at bikebandit . com to order to a new tailight bulb, but I can tell by the pic it won't fit in my socket. Was this an additional option on the 02 Warrior, or did the previous owner do something to it? It looks stock and OEM. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Take the old bulb to an auto parts store and they should have a dual filament replacement for you. It will probably be cheaper too since you won't have to pay for shipping.

It's the flat style socket, and it only has two wires going into the harness. I'm thinking I don't have a brake light, just a taillight that is always on when my lights are on. Is this normal for an 02 warrior?

I have a "97 and it only has a tail light, no Brake light. If there's on'y 2 wires to it, then it doesn't have a brake light.

Do you have a switch at the rear brake pedal or front brake lever?
If not, no brake light.
