Default Problem with my 08 Wolverine 450

Sorry to ask a question on my first post here but yah.

I was out for bout three hours on the quad today, going to threw mud and water. and all a sudden the machine just shut off it started back up but it would just bog out if i gave it gas. So i turned the choke right up and i could drive it bout 1/4 throttle/30kmph anything over and it would die. it idles fine though. its the same in N or Park, i can give it bout 1/4 throttle then it dies after that.

whats wrong? any ideas?

thanks.

It hapened to me twice. It was the main jet dirty.

You have to loose the 2 carburator clamps, turn it 90 degrees to have acces to the lower part of it. Then remove the float bowl cap, and finaly remove the main jet and clean it. Mine had a small piece of wood once, and dirt the other time.

I will put you on a link the instruction to take the main jet out (with pictures) that i folowed when i did it.

good luck,
