by carb mod hes prolly talking about removing the TORS (throttle over ride system)
there pieces of crap and cause alot of problems on both blasters and banshees, its the real fugly looking gizmo that is on top of each carb.

His carbs are probebly not in sync. He needs to pop off the airfilter so he can see the sliders, then push the gas and see if one side opens before the other. If it does, he has to find a way to adjust it. I got my banshee with the TOR's off and idle screws installed, so I couldent tell you how to adjust it with the TOR's on. The kit is pretty cheap and a must if you are going to do upgrades to the motor and use the stock carbs.

yea best way to sync carbs on a banshee are to take the seat and aircleaners off, and use a carb sync tool, either from a store that sells old vw parts or go here F.A.S.T Racing these things work wonders and will get your bike running very good...i recommend a carb sync tool to ever single person who owns a banshee.....heres an example from wes at bansheehq...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FDcsojwVxc
