I personnally am completely satisfied with my 700 and wouldn't trade it for anything. There is no way that I could be satisfied with less power though. No way.

Thanks for the feedback. Trying to decide between the outlander 650 and Grizzly. Both are pretty cool machines. The outlander is a bit pricey though. Tough decision.

I just picked up my 550. I didn't get power steering because, well, i am a man and i don't need it... ... actually, it was $700 more that i didn't want to spend in all honesty. I love the 550. I researched these things for weeks and ended up with the Grizz. I got a great buy on mine and its a damn nice machine. Honda was my second choice but they wanted more for the 420 than yamaha did for the 550.. Explain that one!! I put about 40 miles on mine this past weekend and i am confident i made the right choice. It goes thru everything and the EFI is really nice.

LOL your not serious are you? The 420 is suppose cost less than a 450 Grizzly let alone the newer 550.

Believe it or not when I bought my 450 in '07 I was considering a Honda 420 and it still had a SRA and drum brake. They wanted more $ than I got my Yami for.

Plus the 420 has no front diff locking option as well.

Yes, i am serious. Got two quotes, both times the Honda 420 was 6200. My 550 i got for 5800 + tax. There is something with the exchange rate right now overseas, however this also effects yamaha but they are rebating their machines right now. There is just no way i will pay for less technology especially when yamaha has just as good of a reputation as honda. Also, Honda is going thru a price increase. Was told that by the 2 dealers. The 550 is a supurb machine. I will go out on a limb and say its better than the honda offerrings.

Im also thinking of getting myself a Grizzly 550 FI, the EPS part im still wondering about if it personally. My grandpa is going to help me get it cause i want my own and stuff. It seems like a amazing ATV and stuff and it has me really wanting one. Polaris looks awesome but is way way to heavy! The Suzuki is so so and honda to me lacks the engine CC and doesnt look as mean as the Grizzly. Semi, did you get yours for cash or was it a loan? Im going to have 3K cash and try for a 3K loan to get mine.

I'm looking to buy a new Grizzly - was looking at a 700 but have not ruled out a 550. For those here that have 550's have you experienced an issues with your exhaust? I went to the link below and a couple of people mentioned they have.
