Default banshee bogs down

So i was riding my banshee yesterday giving it full gas cause i was racing some dude and all of a sudden it shut down in 5th gear. I thought at first it was the spark plugs so i replaced them with some brand new ones. I couldnt kick start the banshee up so i turned it on by getting pushed and releasing the clutch. I gave it full gas and it started making popping noises and it wasnt getting the same reaction it was before. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Check your compression (should be around 125lbs) and your reeds

does your bike have TORS?(throttle over ride system) its a funky looking thing that sits on tops both your carbs, also when you try to ride it shut it off and see if one of your pipes is hotter then the other and try to see if one side smokes more then the other, hopefully its just your carbs either the tors junk acting up or the carbs might be clogged with a little bit of dirt.

Sounds like you blew it up. As mentioned earlier do a compression test.

Default compression.compression.compression

the best way to monitor and diagnose is a compression test...125 psi should be close maby 5 or so psi lower..and iF one side is lower then u most likely dropped a cylinder..when and if u rebuild...check compression...use that check for a base line..every 3 or 4 rides check compression you can usually make a top end last 3 or 4 times longer by doing this.compression goes down a little. set of rings and quick clean up hone and your in business!
