Default YAMAHA WOLVERINE 450

hey guys i have an 07 yamaha wolverine 450 with an hmf exhaust on it its been a year since ive had it and all of a sudden its backfiring non stop i cant get gas it a lot with out it backfiring than dying can anyone help me i have a jet kit someone said i need to install it but im not exactly how to PLEASE HELP????

Too bad you're not closer to wilkes-barre. I could install jet kit for ya. What I would do If i were you is take it to a good ATV shop and have them see if they can help ya.

sounds more like you need to clean out the carb and change the plug to me, as far as the jet that comes with the hmf... well that is kind of a joke.....buy a proper jet kit and have that installed.... it will run better......

ya i bought a dyno jet kit for it but ya i think im gonna take it to a palce n get it installed

With the Dyno Jet Jet kit, take my word for it, if you have the air box lid removed then defianately install the largest main jet in the kit, Dyno Jet has always recomended a leaner main jet than what you really need, I have installed about 5 or six of them in different quads and bikes and everytime I had to go back in and install the biggest main jet in the kit for the best performance. But with the lid on go 2 less than the largest.

also i purchased last year at christmas MAXXIS MUD BUG 27-12-12 tires my rims that i also purchased didnt fit the tire so i havent been able to put them on does anyone know if those r to big for my atv will they rub my hmf exhaust please let me know

What I always do is put the tires on and if they rub order wheel spacers.
