i get 53-54 on the trail and 56-57 on pavement.....i run 25inch tires and its bone stock......

 

I was 96 Kms on pavement which in a previous post I guess the equivalent was about 60. Keep in mind that was down hill, wind at my back on pavement and then my reverse light was flashing like crazy which ctateusa1 had informed me was from over-reving the engine.

Then I changed the tires up to 26" and then put the EPI kit in and to me it still feels like the same speed but my speedo reads around 82-87 Kms.

But... after I'm poppin wheelies, again with the halpful advice on the EPI kit from ctate... I smile more at about 45 Kms than I ever did when I broke 90 ish or so Kms.

I don't like to tap it out though, I think when I'm bookin' it along the roads to get to my fav' ridin' trails that 70 Kms or so is fast enough. The trees all look the same and I just think it's easier on my equipment to not push it all day, all week, all month, all the time to the limit. It's fun to wind 'er up every now and then though.

That's when I wish I had a Wolverine.

 

stock tires and sprockets, yfz450 gps said 71.3

 

My Warrior with the mods listed in my profile ran 70.7 per GPS with the 14tooth sprocket and 22's on the rear. Level road with no wind.

However, I prefer it with the stock 13 tooth and the 22's, and then it'll run about 65-66, but is much more torquey on the bottom half.

 

My blaster will do about 65 on a good day, on stock sprocket

 

my kodiak does about 87 km on hard pack road and I have 26" mud bug tire

I can get my warrior up to 68 as it sits now.

 

I havent been on a trail yet that would let me go faster then 49

I did hit some gravel today and at 40 popped a wheelie when the road had a small incline..
