is it going to blow???
So yesterday i decided to take the 88 warrior for a spin to my buddy's house which i have done numerous times before which takes about 20 to 30 minutes depending on how much traffic i have to avoid. So here is my question, i was probably in third cruising along and the bike started to increase in rpm's after i released the throttle, i had to kill the engine to make it stop!! It felt like it was going to blow between my legs and rip my manhood off!!! It started back fine and didnt do it again until i went home. Ok from my standpoint it seems that either the needle in the carb was stuck wide open or the throttle cable has a bur in it that doesnt allow the cable to resort back to a neautral position. If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated.

is it going to blow???
i had the same exact problem with my 87 warrior and it had me confused for the longest time. after months of changing jets and buying new parts for the carb. i thought wait a minute. high reving off and on like could be what....... an air leak??? so i checked my carb boot (boot from carb to motor) and BINGO it was cracked in three places. so i replaced it with a new one and i haven't had a problem since. i just fixed it last week. i'm thinking you have the same problem.
