LOL... stroker101... you own one and you still asked if it got water in the carb?

Anyways... gemini... Does it act like the rev-limiter is kicking in early? Does the reverse light flicker?

has he checked the sparkplug?

Also, he might want to take a look at the fuel vent to see if it sucked anything in it. It's located on the right side of the gas tank.

lol, yeah i totally used the wrong description for the throttle body. however he knew what i meant, and you did also.

double check all your connections on the intake snorkel and the electrical connectors to the throttle body. let "us" know what you find

if you pin the throttle and hold it, when it gets to a high rpm it will eventually clean up. plug is kinda dark but doesnt look bad enough to cause this much headache. do yall think its an electrical issue or mechanical. we drained the tank to amke sure there wasnt any water or any other junk in it. any other ideas?

if you unhook the fuel completely and squirt carb cleaner into the throttle body it runs fine until it runs out of carb cleaner. i think its a fuel delivery problem but not sure. any ideas?

If it runs better with the carb cleaner... It does sound like there's something clogged up in there. Honestly though, start off with replacing the sparkplug... (the small cheaper stuff... ya know?)

Hey man - I dont know if you bike has a fuel filter - but this sounds suspiciously like you have one and its clogged up. Replace it and run a can of Sea Foam through your next tank of fuel - it'll square you away!
