Default 04' YFZ 450 Timing help Please!

So my little sisters timing was off due to bad tensioner. I put the cam sprockets back where they should be at TDC. It wont start. I checked the valve clearence and they are to tight. Does that mean it is not starting because the valves are open a little during the compression stroke? if so I just need to replace the shims. thanks for any advice from those who have been there lol PS yes its getting fuel and spark. and I know how the cam sprockets go. thanks!

Did you have the flywheel marks lined up at the same time that you had the cam marks lined up?
