I just bought toomey t5s, vforce 3 reeds, and K&n filters for my shee. Do you guys think that I might be closer to keeping up with my buddy in a drag race? He rides a piped yfz.

Yes you will be closer. It'll prob come down to the rider. Best holeshot will prob win that one.

Just as long as he's not totally blowing me away, I'll be happy. I also ride with piped predators and a stock 660 raptor. Just as long as I keep up a little bit better.

Will definitely come down to the rider. Try getting a +4 timing plate or mill the head. When i first got my banshee. I had t5's v-force 3 reeds. k&n airfilter & pods +3 timing plate and i was runnign 15/41 gearing. I beat a lot of 450s with more money into them then my shee. 15/41 gearing is an amazing gear ratio for the mods i just mentioned. Top end will be approx 85 mph and you are not sacraficing much lower end.

If you get some trail porting done you will smoke your budy and he will have to drop more money into his quad before he can touch you.

Also, get a good pair of tires. tires are everything in the race. as warrior said, between you guys the one who gets the holeshot will probably win the race.
