Flinging mud and starting problems
Flung mud with my Polaris 400, yammy Bruin 250 and the brand spankin' new Grizzly 350 Saturday. Bruin and Sportsman took it on with no probs. The brand new Grizzly encountered starting problems. Had to manually start it twice after my son cut it off at rest stations. Then it magically started again after being run a while.
The following Sunday morn the electric start just made a weak grinding sound. Dead as a hammer. What's up with this? The belt couldn't possibly be wet.
It's under warranty and I'm taking it back to the dealership. Ridiculous really an ATV that can't handle a little mud?

Took the Grizz back to Yammy dealership and they replaced a bad battery that had been half charged in the Christmas crunch.
They even washed the quad down and waived off my first service in lieu of my probs on the trail. A man can't complain with that kind of service now can he.
The mechanic advised me to have my boys switch off the kill switch (little red switch) just to train them not to kill the battery in the future. In this case it wasn't my sons fault but I've drained a battery down myself a time or two.
End result: Grizzly 350 back in action with no gripes
