Question On 2004 blaster...Please Help.
I have a 2004 yamaha blaster. Right now there is the FMF Power Core 2 silencer on it. I was thinking about getting the fmf fatty pipe.
1) Will it make much of a difference in performance that i can feel from just having the silencer on?
2) I will install myself. Is tuning really necessary? If so, can i do it myself or should i have someone tune it.
3) What if i don't tune it and put it on anyway?

i ran a banshee for a couple years but didnt like the zippy power in it , but i can say i had a FMF fatty and shorty and i put both on myself and it didnt phase it tuning is just nessacary if your racing and your trying to tweak it to get the utmost best power out of it. ull notice with the fatty will increase power output from bottom end to mid range rpms.

i have the fatty and the power core 2 and theres a nice difference......you definitley want the fatty because the engine won't be so restricted by the stock header......also i jetted my carb with FMF's jetting kit so you might wanna give that a try....and another thing is if you put an aftermarket air filter on it it will also help it breath easier giving more performance
