Default Blaster Shifting

I know this will sound like a stupid question, but how do you get a Blaster into neutral? I just picked up a used one tonight and can't figure out how to shift the thing into neutral. What's the shift pattern? Sorry to ask such a question, but all I've ever driven are Polaris automatic 4 wheelers.

press on the clutch and tap it down to the "click" area between the first and second gear. 1 down, half click up from that is neutral, and then another half click from there is 2, than 3, 4, and so on......

Ok, but where is 1st and 2nd? Do I keep tapping the shifter down until it doesn't click anymore? Is that 1st? Then lift up a click and that's neutral? So down all the way is 1st, and then lift up for 2nd-6th?

yeah, that is about right, but it's sometimes better to know what gear you are on. and no, clicking up from one is not 2. It's neutral. you have to make sure that you shift it up all the way past neutral or you won't be going anywhere but just rolling on by the gravitational force with loud engine revving sounds..

Yes, that is right. All the way down is 1st. A half shift up (or down from 2nd) should get you into neutral. From then on a full shift up will catch the next highest gear, a full shift down the next lowest.

1 down 5 up that means you click the shifter down all the way till it doesn't go down any further you mite have to move the four wheeler to get all the way into first and then gentally lift your foot up and it should go to neutral and just shift up from first

Ok, so all the way down is 1st, half up is neutral....full up is 2nd, another full up 3rd...and so on? Say to go from 4th to 3rd....do you push down? Makes sense that you would!
