nawww, u made a good decision, the raptor 700 is a little faster than the 450's, trust me. And if you take the baffle out of it, it will sound awfull, they dont sound good at all with the baffle out of them, thats why its best to just buy a slip-on pipe and a K&N filter, and take off the air box lid(as long as your not going through any water)and it will make a big difference!! After that, save ya money and get ya a C.D.I. box 4 it, they make a difference also, well, good luck, if ya have any questions, juts ask me!!

Try to answer alot of you guys questions at once, for one dont trust the cobra programmer, prefer the dynojet power commander. Also for the other guy as wildman says dont bother with the baffle your wasting your time do recommend the LRD pro 4 slip on the full set up is pricey for the extra 1 hp you get from headers. To get better perfomance out of the 700 you will have to spend 500+ for everything to work right, God knows I love the old days of dumb redneckin- lids off, baffles out and could swear we were making 10 more horses when acually it was just alot louder. The 700 is deceiving, when you ride it it doesnt seem as fast as it is. When mine was stock I swore that my old 660 was faster but lining them up proved that the 700 was alot quicker especially from the top of 2nd and beyond. As for wheel spacers you dont need them trash them. The only thing I would improve for the 700 is the suspension, Im 240 + and Its a little soft for me.

about the baffle theres a nut on the bottom of the silencer take that out and somtimes they will slide right out and if the dont just run a hole saw threw it....zizard is right theres no performance gain but it does sound a lot better and no it wont make it run hot

Nothing to do with your subject, but what kind of fuel millage do you get with the 700R. I understand its hard to tell without an odometer, but does it seem bad or pretty good?

fmf pipe is good.theres alot of good pipes out right now and deciding on one brand can be hard. If your looking for gains in power some pipes only work best where gains SHOULD be needed. Do you want your gains to be set for low, mid,or high?when decided, then get a pipe mainly for that area.I also have a 06 raptor and when i get my pipe i want a pipe thats going to get my low end more gains not so much mid or high. so decide where you want to up your power and chose that pipe best for what your looking for.About a header well i heard storys that you dont get that much gain for the money, look into a slip on,air filter and dyno test.
