Don't know why I'm bothering but here goes.
This is a race between a piped LT500 and my stock bore stage 1 camed 11:1 pistoned Raptor at Dumont. This same 500 would be a few qauds behind me now but at this time was able to beat me, he did not "eat me alive". Your statement is a bit wishfull. There are many Raptors today that will not be beat by a "piped" Zilla. There's plenty of modded Zillas that would be a lot closer to your statement but not a piped Zilla.
i know this is old,but i get a kick out of zillarider and yamaharideronly. let me tell u mr yamaha only man zillariders zilla runs like CRAP if u beat him. raptors are not fast at all stock so stop thinking they are. also zilla man how is it a 537 with only a .20 bore over?
ive ridden both and the quadzilla seems much faster but i have never seen the 2 run but i think that the zilla would take the 660 easily but top end would probaly be close and i for one dont like how the zilla looks but they ride so good low centered seems like you could climb any thing on them

someone informed me wrong on the engine size then. and if you noticed, now, i can beat his raptor in accel, and top speed.
I think the Raptor would win in sandy conditions, were traction is criticle. The LT500 would take it easy on pavment. Give the Raptor a Exhaust, intake, and Cam, then you would be faster then a stock 500. also, its 90% rider, 10% Machine.
Im gonna chime in and say that on pavement no contest zilla will take the cake but on dirt what kind of meats(tires) the zilla is running will greatly affect the outcome. Im running pretty bald tires on my zilla. on hard packed dirt it hooks up somewhat ok on grass its screwed and on loose dirt not too good. I can get beat by a warrior in wet grass at this point but i raced a CBR 600 and kept up with him until i maxed out

i will, but we wont race until next summer, becuase mines not in running shape, and once we race, ill have a new Paul Turner Pipe
