Default how does a powerband work on a blaster

on a 02 yama blaster i was wondering hwo teh powerband works , like does it hit a certain rpm and a censor tells it to do something, im just curious in learning for future refrences

If im not mistaken the powerband isnt actually something.. its just when a 2 stroke gets in a rythem of running that it accelerates very quickly i think its around 4000 rpm.. or so..

I believe a powerband is the range of rpms were the motor produces the most power. Motor mods can move this rpm range er..."powerband" up or down.

Default how does a powerband work on a blaster

the band is what controls when the motor makes the most power the brighter color the band you install the powerband will kick in at higher rpm's. for example a pink band will have it powerband at a higher rpm range then a blue band.

hrm.... i think you all are wrong according the the muffler bearing installation guide written by the same guy who made blinker fluid, the rainbow band is the best choice because it provides great low medium and high power. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
