Default Type of Oil for a Yamaha Blaster

What is the difference between premix and injector oil? The injector oil is very expensive. What would happen if I use a quality 2 stroke oil in my Yamaha Blaster instead of the injector oil?

I put just yamalube 2-S in mine it works just fine. A quart is about 4 bucks.

the injector stuff isn't any more expensive last time I checked.
Injector oils tend to have thinner viscosity, and are desinged to run in a pump without clogging.
some premix oils do double as injector oil(like bell ray si7) though.
some premix oils are castor and if you put that in your injector it will clog up, it's just not good.

If I you I would just follow directions, because there's always the "what if" factor.

don't use castor 927 it's premix only!!, not your injector tank. it's good for racing but it's a castor oil. Castor oils are the king of carbon build up, Synthetics are the clean burning ones. Castors are only meant to be run in serious high rpm racing motors for extreme projection. The guys who run castor and race are tearing down they motors every month or two and checking and cleaning them.
Series 2000 AMSIOL is top notch injector and premix oil.
also Belray Si-7 synthetic 2 stroke is really good. that can be used in premix or injector.
please do yourself a favor and don't go castor oil.
