Default lowering a rollcage

Has anyone here lowered a rollcage. I want to do this to mine because one of our favorite places to ride The rhino wont fit under 2 of the tunnels due to the heighth of the rollcage. I was wondering of this was a safe idea. I want to take my 6 year old son with me but he wont go on my grizzly, he feels more comfortable in the rhino because he is able to put the seatbelt on.

I have a 2006 Rhino, and would not lower the roll cage. The tencil strength of the metal could be damaged if you cut the pipe and re welded it. I don't know of any other way to do it. If some one else has done this ,please let us know.

I was actually going to try to stay away from welding it. I want to insert a peice of round stock inside the rollcage tubing and bolt it, similar to the way the stock ends are. I might actually try to fab my own rollcage and make it lower if I can do it for a descent price, who knows, I'll keep the options open. Thanks for the input.

Never thought about a new "Cage"! But it could work better than cutting and welding, and you could go back stock,if you wanted too! Good Idea!

That fab idea all depends on the price. My wife has me on a tight budget. LOL!
