Rhino purchase questions

I am looking at either a Teryx or a Rhino but leaning towards the Rhine for several reasons but I have a few questions. If I plan on doing mostly trail riding and snow plowing, will I notice the difference in ride between the shocks on the standard Rhino and the Sport? Is there any difference between the 2008's and the 2009's? What color, other than camo, holds up the best and show the least scratches? A local dealer has a silver 2008 sport on his lot with upgraded shifter, LED tail lights and I believe a upgraded steering wheel, what should be a good price for me to buy this machine for?

I almost forgot, the reason I am leaning towards the Rhino is because I like the fact that it's 4 inches narrower. I also like the four wheel drive system better on the Yamaha. I do love the V-twin power of the Kawasaki but didn't care for the way there 4 wheel drive engages. You have to be moving for the 4 wheel drive to engage. If you get stuck in 2 wheel drive, you swithc to 4 wheel drive and keep tapping the gas gently to turn the rear wheels enough for it to engage. The Kawi front locker also isn't as good as the Yamaha.

Yes, the TeraX has more power, but it is bigger and heavier and as you mentioned, some including me do not like the front locker. I like the smaller size of the Rhino for added agility and with it I can go most places I can take my ATV. The Sport version does have better shocks, but you will pay about $1800 for them and to me it is just not worth the cost as you can get up around 12k. I don't know what color holds up best, but I do know my green has not. Since I use it for work and running around in the woods, I don't care much what it looks like, but my next one will be camo. I have not heard of any significant differences in the 08 and 09 model, but you probably should check with your dealer as well as to do some research as your dealer may just want to get rid of a 08 and not be completely honest with you.

As to price, I would just check several dealers as the prices are going to vary between them by quite a bit. Think about the accessories you are going to want and see what kind of package deal you can get and if you are handy mechanically, you can save quite a bit of money putting them on yourself and can probably beat the prices by going online.
