Default pretty deep mud

The guy in the photo is not part of our group. He was stuck pretty good. It took 2 other atv's to pull him out. When he first got it stuck, the motor died. I was like that is not good but I guess he didn't have any problems. This is up in Attica, IN, a place called Badlands. Has anybody else been there? Me I did not like it. There is only 700 acres. You can ride that in one day.

I've heard of the Badlands. Haven't been there though. Heard that it was $20 and always crowded!

It is $20 a night or 30 for 2 nights and you had to pay for camping which is $7 a night for primitive. Pretty expensive riding if you go there alot. As far as being crowded, it was not to bad until we left. They had a Suzuki Samuari(don't know how to spell) fest going on that weekend We left on a Friday and that is when it started to get crowded.

I have been to the Badlands twice. Once with my Suzuki Vinson 500 and the other time was for a ZR2USA Rally. I took my 2003 Sonoma ZR2 there. Never again. I found it to be a lot more fun on the ATV. I thinks I am going to get a few friends to go on the weekend of Oct. 13th. If anyone wants to meet up.

i only live about an hour and half from there and just went a couple weeks ago, it's pretty dry in areas that are usually muddier than you wouldn't beleive.. i try to go there once every couple months.. but after this last one i decided i want to sell my warrior and buy a 4x4 quad.. mostly for the attica mud.

as far as being crowded.. i've only been there once when it was crowded so bad both upper and lower lots were filled and people were parking in the overflow... and that was on a late spring day on a saturday.. saturdays are generally busiest for them, sundays u usually get 100 people or so and even on days like that you may not see someone riding for a while

i've also ridden there when there was a total of 12 people in the entire park( on a monday)... week days there are NEVER busy.. unless it is a school holiday( people seem to go with their kids on those days) the prices use to be ALOT higher when they opened badlands and went way down.. now they are starting to come back up.. i really wish they'd smooth out the whoops like mid-year... some of them are just plain dangerous

Interesting opinions. Badlands is one of my favorite places for both my quads and my Jeep. Something there for everyone: sand dunes, trails, mud, rocks, etc. We go at least twice a year, and I've never considered crowds to be a problem.
