Go north on 35, and go to the St. Croix trail area, links up with the Gandy Dancer Trail, and the Willard Munger Trail, part of it even goes over the border into Wisconsin. Or, a quick jump over the border just east of Spooner,WI, in Washburn county will put you on some nice trails, barely 2 hr drive away.

If you find anything south of the cities post it here. I live south of worthington 30 miles and would love to find new riding areas. So far all the MN areas seem to be north of rochester and north of the cities.

from Worthington, there is the Elm Creek Trail by Trimont. They calim that it is approx. 8 miles, but I logged only 2 on a full trip around. There is also a scrabling area there also. Last I heard, it was tore up pretty good and was only suitable for 4x4 machines. That is about it for Grant in Aid trails for southwestern MN.

The south central area has Tri-County ATV Park and 5 miles from that is Bauer's Pit (pay to ride). At Bauer's, you sign a liability waiver, pay the old guy $10, and ride all day. There is also a 12 mile trail by Stanton going towards Winona on Hwy 14. Very scenic, but short.
