Did do some searching and found a price on another site. Story was from November of 2013, I think.

This is for the sport model, and I can't verify that it's correct. $599.99
$600
Maybe I wont be first in line!

The only thing that worries me is the hinges. I just don't know if they'll hold up.

Hello everyone! Sorry about not being able to connect to the website. We are having a special right now on our kickstarter page at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...hark-kage-ramp
We have two different ramps out at the moment. The Moto ramp and the Sport ramp. The moto ramp is a 24 inch wide ramp mostly for motorcycles only. The sport ramp is 47 inches wide and can be used with any vehicle that doesn't surpass the weight limit of around 1200 pounds. As far as pricing goes the retail is $699. If you check out the kickstarter link I have posted above it has the discounted price levels for our introductory prices!

$700 for a ramp that holds "around" 1200" lbs .... ouch.
that's 3x more expensive than the harbor frieght 1500lb aluminum ramps.

That would put me and my quad's weight together at the limit.

my outty max xt dry weight is 820 lbs with the 4 ply 26" tires and an aluminum sub-frame. loaded with gear, the 28" 6 ply mega meyhams, full gas tank and rider... puts the atv easily over 1200 lbs.

I'd imagine the polaris xp sportsman lineup with their 26" tires and steel sub frame weighs more.

these ramps are obviously not geard towards the 4x4 atv crowd... more for the sport quad & dirtbike crowd.

$700 (not including shipping) is very steep for a set of ramps!

My ramp was $200 but that was over 15 years ago. Inflation still didn't bring it up that high. I just checked and they're $240.

Are any of these out where they can be seen, like at a dealer or parts store with an actual storefront?

We are in the process of getting the products out to the dealers. Right now we are located in Las Vegas and have a warehouse where we have a display Shark Kage set up to demonstrate all the different features and capabilities of what it can do. Shark Kage is more than just a ramp. It has a lot more to offer than a traditional atv ramp you can buy anywhere. With our Kickstarter promotion with the Shark Kage you would receive the unit along with all the attachments needed plus free shipping!
