Cool

The Gorrilla 3000lb XTR Synthetic Pkg winch I bought off of EBay ($140) last July has/is working flawless. I plowed snow all winter - and there was alot this yr - with NP.

On the ++ side as well - I DID liquid tape all connections and shrinkwrap/tape any that warranted it. I ALSO purchased the neoprene cover ($15) from Gorilla - HELPS ALOT in keeping the mud & crud & SNOW out/off the winch.

I've seen MANY posts bashing WARN knockoffs.......but IMHP buying a winch is like buying a car.
It all depends partly on useage - maintenance - luck. We've ALL had GREAT cars.......and Lemons.

And lets face it......$140 vs $399+???

I have the advantage of owning BOTH - the wifey's new '09 AC 550H1 EFI came with a WARN 3000 - so I'll be keeping an eye on which one lasts.

Cant blame the winch for that failure.
