i got an 87 suzuki 250 4x4 first atv to have independent rear suspension and front diff lock standard. it was willed to me when my uncle passed away and he lived up in alaska, when he would go back caribou hunting and stuff they went way back in the swamp and always riding in mud and water. so he welded on a rod from the foot shifter so you could shift it by hand and keep your feet up on the rack. after riding it a person never used your feet anymore it was always grabbing for that hand shifter. it is a great atv way ahead of it's time and it was owned by a great man my uncle clifford. and if anyone wants pics of this for their shifter just PM me.
