Default Best Ute? Kingquad or BF 750?

Hey all. My friend has a Raptor 350 and i have a Raptor 660R. His dad is looking to get a good Utility quad to keep up with us. he wants it to be able to use it as a plow, and work, but also to be able to perform good. Whats better the Suzuki KingQuad 700 or Brute Force 750? thanks.

you may want to also consider the Sportsman 800 EFI if you want something that will work and play for you

I would have to recommend the King myself.

The Brute would be a good workhorse also but I like the EFI.

I would get the King Quad too. Not as much low end as the Brute Force but plenty of power and IMO a better all around machine and let's not forget about the price.

I wouldn't even look at the new so called 800 Sportsman for many reasons.

1. Yes this quad is fast but I'm assuming that you are not talking just about straight a ways. This quad is way to heavy to be maneuverable and you did say you wanted something that could keep up with your sport quads. The KQ beats the rest in this department with the exception of the Twin Peaks & Prairie but they are single axle machines. If you want an IRS machine the KQ is your best bet.

2. Price Price Price...In my opinion the KQ is a better "over all" machine and has a way better price.

3. The KQ is extremely sporty and has more than enough power for work.

The monster Sportsman does have it's place if you have the $$$$$$ and should be a great machine but if you are looking for something fast, maneuverable, and puts the SPORT in sport/ute the KQ is by far the way to go.

Outrage,

You keep talking about the price between the BF and KQ. I can purchase a BF $900 less then the KQ but this may be a local issue. The KQ dealers are listing the bikes at $9900.00 CDN and not moving where as I can get a BF for $9100.00 CDN or $9900.00 with bugs/589's and ITP rims.

The only problem I see is the relation between the two currency conversions. MSRP has not changed with the lower US dollar so I think the US based bikes are a better deal with our dollar trading at $1.20 and is getting stronger. In a year and half the CDN dollar will be on par then us CDN's will have to cross the border to buy our quads. Sorry for going off topic

the reason im between the King Quad and the Brute Force 750 is because The dealer has the BF for only 350$ more. I think he will be going with the King quad, but im up for some more opinions! thanks for all the imput so far!

You probaly should get your facts set straight before you start talking about the 800. It is really maneuverable to move around and the weight also helps with more important things. It is a utility machine you know. The 800 maneuvers good, is really powerfull, and pretty comfortable. The king quad isnt as powerful, maneuvers probaly the same as the 800 if not better and there both really comfortable. There have been many comments about the 800 being more powerfull than the brute force, so i wouldnt even think about buying the brute, its not a very good quad all around. Its a toss up between the 800 or king quad take your pick

I don't bash quad brands but I think ONE should have seat time on a quad before one makes a point to say it sucks. Don't get me wrong allot of people bash the Poo Poos (lol) without owning one. Everything seems to be my friend or I heard but it is all subjective hear say.

I would like to see SP800 in action but the bike has not been out very long to make any real opinion. To say any of these quads are junk is not helping anyone including yourself.

Since I have 2 Kawi's in my garage I can honestly say if my bike(s) are any good or not, because I own 2, so how can you say a paticular quad is junk?
