I was just wondering what everyone has made for their quads. Im not talking aftermarket engine mods, but things like boxes, hitches etc, rack extensions, etc. home made stuff.

thanks,

I built a front and rear receiver system. Basically I use it to switch my winch from the front to the back. I also built a trunk that mounts into the hitch and is high enough so the backup light and taillight are still visible. i do have the D-ring piece for pulling and agas can rack. I'll try and post some pictures soon.

Pull behind utility trailer with a 5' long box, 2' wide by 2' high with a removable rear gate.

Steel ramp to ride up onto to work on the quad or load it into a pickup.

Pull behind drag with chainlink fence and some cement blocks for weight.

Took an old pickup bed (6') and made it into a trailer for towing the quad and a box for the rear rack for all my ice fishing equipment. Thats it so far.

Built a rear mesk drop-basket rack for the Kodiak. Cost me roughly 1/3 the price of a factory one, but mine was built better and stronger. I rolled my machine when out in Moab, Utah and that drop-basket never got bent or damaged. Those cheaply constructed $200 drop-baskets would have been toasted in a roll-over such as I when through. It even kept my machine from getting more damaged than it did!

All that I've built would be my gas can carrier. Best 2 buck I ever spent.
