Default Ford Crew cabs w/7.3 Diesel

Does anybody here have a Ford Crew Cab Diesel with the 7.3 Diesel engine? If so, what year do you have and how do you like it? I am looking at getting one to haul the toys.

Thanks!

My step father has a 250 ext cab LB with the 7.3
Friends of the family have owned about 5 in the last few years. All of these were 350 7.3 auto crew cab. One dually and 4 LB's.

I have driven them all. They are great and have a lot of power. Fuel milelage is around 17-18 unloaded or with a few k pounds out back. We have used them to haul 38' triple axle quad slide fifth wheels with great success. They tow and haul like a dream.

I've got a 2001 F-350 dually with a diesel (not stock). I use it to pull all my toys. I wouldn't trade it for anything, I love it. Check my pics out.

My dad has a 02 Ford F-350 with the 7.3. The 03 and newer have the 6.0 diesel. I like it alot. I drive it more than my dad I think. Pulls a skidloader and 14ft enclosed trailer(with tools in it) extremely well. Very nice truck. Chevrolet HD has better interior though (comfort wise)

Hey, 2004YFZ450 Nice truck. what size lift and tires?

I have a '02 crew cab 4x4 dually long box w/auto trans, I think the world of this truck, this will be our puller for a long time I think. With the bed full of quads, and the camper behinde us we get @ 12m.p.g.,and theres no hills around here that will slow us down. And that is scaling @18000lbs!

Is there much difference between the older 7.3, newer 7.3 and the new 6.0 engines?
