Welding some tube stock between the frame and shackles is a pretty common way to do it. Be sure the eyes of the shackles end up in the same positions, except lower, to maintain proper alignment. Don't go too high, or it won't be stable and it will have that baby buggy look.
Why do you need it higher? You won't gain any ground clearance if you keep the same axle? If the advar is your truck, you might need a custom ball mount to be able to tow it level.
