Default Best trailer solution for around $1000? Need to hold

a 400 quad, 250 dirtbike, 50 bike and possible another small quad like a 110. I would need to pull this with my wifes CUV which I have to double check the rating, but I believe under 7500lbs. I ran across a 6x10 or 12 at Menards with a rear ramp and wood flooring open trailer for $984. I would prefer this to fit into the garage when not in use. If I spend more for a trailer would it be more beneficial for an enclosed trailer? I think I can pick up an enclosed 12' with side door, rear ramp and new for just over $2k.

I have never bought a trailer before and am not sure which direction to go. I just bought the toys last fall and never really used them. I need a trailer soon since I think the neighbors are tired of hearing/seeing me go up and down the street. I have a nice 150 acre place about 10 miles away.

Pictures would greatly help me understand what each of you have and paid for. I have tried hunting for a used one and not finding anything.

I have a 2003 LoadRite ATV2550 that I may be selling. I paid about $1,300 for it, and haven't used it all that much over the last few years. It is in great shape and there are no issues with it. I have enclosed a generic URL of what it looks like and some specifications. Where are you located?

I think I may have found my trailer. I found a 6.5x12 trailer that has removable sides that double as ramps. So there is access from both sides as well as the rear. Fifteen inch rims, etc and is under $1100. Seems hard to beat. I was at Home Depot and they wanted about $1500 for a less equipped trailer.

That price is about right. I priced a 6x14 with the extra side ramp and it was $1,300.00

I ended up paying $1000 for the 6.5 x 12 trailer with the side ramps. Very pleased for the price. I am glad I did not go for the one at Menards which was $984 since it was only a 5 x 10. After putting everything in the trailer, a 5 x 10 would be just too small.

I will post up pics tomorrow. I live in eastern IA, but bought the trailer from Seneca, IL which is outside Chicago about 1 hour.

I have a pic of the trailer if anyone needs it, but I don't have a host site to hold the pictures. It appears you need that on this forum to post. You can IM me with your email and I can send it directly if needed.

You can upload photos into your profile, and it will let you paste them into threads.

I'm glad to hear you got one with 15" wheels. Much better than those little short ones.
