generator help

i know this has nothing to do with atvs. trailers trucks etc. but i have a generator a family member gave to me because it stopped working i took it home cleaned the carb and it started right up no problem it runs excellant. but it doesnt idle up under load i had to turn the idle up to produce electricity any ideas i want to mount this to my enclosed trailer for camping etc. the model number is makita g2410r thanks for any help. sorry for the off topic post .

You didn't mention a brand name but chances are if you go to the makers web site you will be able to get the information you need.

the name is up there. its makita but ive been on there site but nothing unfortunatley i cand find anything from anyone on this. oh well thanks ten
