I'm sure a dually would tow better, but I'd rather buy a smaller fifth wheel than buy a dually. I occasionally 4-wheel my truck, and it's hard enough to fit it through a trail. The extra width of a dually would suck.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. The residential areas of the town I live in were laid out for model T's and a wide truck would be a pain even in my neighborhood, but my next rig will be a dually (or even a 5500 series).
