The orange F-250 in my Pics page has an 8inch lift with 38's. I know you said that even 6 inces may be too high, but an 8 incher really draws a crowd if you're into that. We used to have a'99 F-350 with a 6 inch Fab Tech and 35's and the attention that 2 extra inches gives you is amazing.

the orange ford is sweet. I think a 6" is the right choice. Thanks for the info. The truck is my work and hunting, carrying 4 wheeler's and just a all around truck. probably only muddin a couple of times a year.

Dont let the 38 inch Super Swampers fool you, my father spends 2 hrs every weekend washing this thing....you could eat off of the under carriage. It only sees mud if it rains when we go riding quads. 6 inches is probably the best lift for an all around truck, we only drive this on the weekends.

For what it is worth, I have had good Luck with my "Rubicon Express" lift on my Jeep. They also make lifts for the Big Fords.
